SLOW COOKER PULLED PORK

Ingredients

4 ½ lbs. (2.04 kg) pork loin
1 Tbsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt
1 Tbsp. Sunset Seasoned Pepper (Retired)
2 Tbsp. Perfect Pork Rub & Seasoning (Retired)
1 Tbsp. Onion Garlic & Herb Seasoning
1 can (354 ml) root beer
1 cup apple sauce

Sauce:
1 bottle Apple Butter Grilling Sauce
1 ½ cups Sweet & Spicy Brown Sugar Bourbon Sauce
½ cup apple juice

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine all seasonings. Season pork loin with seasonings and place in a large container with lid or in a large sealable bag for several hours or preferably overnight. Place seasoned loin in a slow cooker, add root beer and apple sauce, cook on high for 4-5 hours then low for 2 hours. Remove pork and place on a cutting board, cool for a bit, then using two forks, shred. Discard liquid from crock pot. Combine all sauce ingredients in a pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Place shredded pork back in the crock-pot, add sauce and heat on low for an hour. Serve on buns with coleslaw and a side of baked beans or mac & cheese.
